Ciara Kennedy and ‘Chekane’ took centre-stage delivering blistering days performance in the latest round of the ‘Bluegrass Diamond Challenge’ set in the spectacular ‘Meadows Equestrian Centre’. Ciara added her name to an illustrious honours list claiming the Bluegrass 1.30m in style, with Bluegrass Horse Feeds ambassador Suzanne Posnett taking second and third with ‘ZinnizRoundthorn’ and ‘Orchard Echo. Earlier in the day the on-form Ciara and ‘Chekane’ also secured a respectable sixth place in the Bluegrass 1.20m.
Alison Crothers had cause to celebrate coming up trumps in the Bluegrass 1.20 with ‘Waikato Ko’ with Suzanne Posnett and ‘Carrickview Gin And Tonic’ settling for second place spot with Conor McEneaney and ‘Kings Best’ claiming third place.

Alexandra Robinson and ‘Callie LVS Z’ claimed the intensely competitive Bluegrass 1.10m with a super speedy round on her fabulous horse with Shannon Cole and ‘Limmerick’s Limited Edition’ claiming second with Gareth Clingham and ‘Village Crusanna’ slotting into third.

Dean Cotton and ‘Coolda Castaway’ set a pace no-one could match as he landed the honours in the Bluegrass 1m after a thrilling battle with Alexandra Robinson and ‘Callie LVS Z’ coming closest to catching him finishing in second spot and Melanie Moorhead and ‘Lady Phoenix’ having to settle for third.
The next round of the thrilling ‘Bluegrass Diamond Challenge’ touches down in Portmore Equestrian Centre this Sunday 15th March.
